Mid-Atlantic Southeastern Wine Competition

Our Gewurztraminer was recently awarded BEST IN SHOW at the Mid-Atlantic Southeastern Wine Comp! One of our favorite new releases of the year, this wine was fashioned in a drier Alsatian style, with about 1.0% residual sugar. A luscious floral nose complemented by orange and lemon zest precedes a lovely palate filled with vibrant rosewater, citrus, and hints of spice!
Several of our other wines were also awarded medals in this competition, including the 2006 Cuvee des Champs (1st), Cabernet Sauvignon (2nd), Petit Manseng, Viognier, and Edichi (3rd)! Most of these wines are available both at the winery and at specialty wine shops throughout VA - while the Cuvee is sold out at the winery, it can still be found in several wine shops around Charlottesville!
RECENT AWARDS
White Hall's 2008 Viognier and 2008 Petit Manseng were both recently awarded Silver Medals at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, competing against domestic and international wines - what a great way to kick off the year! Be sure to come out and taste these, and other, wines, as well as take a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities!
